Where are the Cotswolds Anyway?

"The Cotswolds" are a range of hills 90 miles long stretching northeast from the city of Bath to the town of Chipping Campden. Part of an outcrop of Jurassic rocks formed 150-200 million years ago, they are today a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).

Stow-on-the-Wold (indicated with blue marker) is in the heart of the Cotswolds, centrally located between Stratford-on-Avon, Cheltenham and Oxford. It's an ideal place to base yourself when visiting the Cotswolds.
